My greatest inspiration would have to be my boyfriend Alan. I started out with a great respect for his strength and wanting to be as strong as him. Day after day he told me how strong I was and that I would have a great success in powerlifting and acheive records some day. Alan has been in it with me from day one and pushing and encouraging me to get bigger numbers and acheive great goals. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for his dedication to my success in powerlifting.

I was raised in West Virginia where I went to college and then relocated to New Jersey where I started my powerlifting career. I was originally in the 148 lb weight class at 22 yrs old. Later I moved up to the 165 lb weight class for my second competition at 23 yrs old on 11/04/06. I'd like to continue competing 165 for a while. I currently live in Frisco, TX , which is just north of Carrollton, TX where I am part of the Bad Attitude Gym team. This includes World Record holder Jaosn Cocker and two phenomenal lifters: Greg Tillinghast and Ray Pierce who recently squatted over 1000 lbs.
summary in my own words:
I started training Westside Barbell my Junior year of college to further my success in Track & Field, during which my boyfriend, Alan Krutulis, kept encouraging me to compete. He told me I would break records some day. After I graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College we toyed with the idea of my first competition. Secretly Alan was planning everything for my first meet, gear included. He surprised me at Christmas 2005 with my first competition, the 2006 CandyAzz Classic at Iron Asylum Gym. With not much time and on our own, gear became a slight issue. When I got to Iron Asylum Gym, I was welcomed with open arms and given assistance by Tony Barbaccio, Shawn Lattimer and ofcourse Sandi and Zane McCaslin. At this competition I won my class, 148 Junior and received one of the meet's outstanding lifter awards. After my first year of competitions I am very excited for the future to come. Powerlifting is where I feel I belong and I'm ready to start hitting some big numbers.
