| June 2006: I had a great season this year...4 shows in 7 weeks...I won the overall at the Ironman Classic in Syracuse...then 3 weeks later I hit the stage in Chicago for my first national show. I took third in the lightweight class. I went to that show expecting nothing but experience, so the 3rd place win was a great surprise! They are trying to get away from the freaky masculine look for womens bodybuilding...so this is great news for me! My husband Wes has helped me all season with my training. He even got up on his non training days to hit the gym with me at 6 am, just to spot me and push me. He got my bench way up...I could barely do 95 for reps, now my 1 rep max is 150 lbs. Gotta love a man like that! My goal for the next year is to add some width and thickness to my back and some more size to my shoulders. I work with IFBB pro George Farah and I know I'll get there with his epertise! I also have been sponsored by American Physique, so look for me on their website shortly! Tammy |
