I was born Amy Renee' Meacham, married name Roberts. I was born on March 4,
1970 in Phoenix, Arizona. Parents were divorced when I was 2, so I was raised in
California with my mom and went to Arizona to stay with my dad.
I live in Harrisburg, PA  with my wonderful husband and my youngest daughter,
Michaella. I am a mother of 3, a son 15, a daughter 13 and then my youngest 6. My
husband is very supportive of me and the things I love.
sum it all up for us:
The first meet I ever saw was the one in Clayton, NC. I was hooked after that!!!
My first competition was a USAPL meet in Wilmington, NC with a bench of 95 lbs.
The biggest meet I have been to so far was the Johnny Perry Memorial in Clayton,
NC, which by the way is my FAVORITE meet.
I like to bench raw or with a shirt (Karin's DD ofcourse).
weight class:
132 - 165
other interests:
I like snowboarding, swimming, animals and crafts. I have been a stand in mom for many
baby animals. I have bottle fed around 300 kittens. I also like tattoos, crazy hair, and
people who are fun, crazy and honest. That is one reason I love competing in powerlifting. I
have met some of the best people in the world at these meets.
employment:
I am lucky that I get to stay home and raise my children.  I own my own business
"Jammin' Jellies" which ofcourse is gourmet jam.
Amy would like to
give special thanks to:
Special thanks to some wonderful people. My husband and daughter for all the
support and love you give me. Without you I would be nothing. I love you.
To Matt and the gang at Phuza Juice and Java and Sahra, Chew and the crew at
Jade Monkey Studios in Wilmington, NC off of Collage Rd. for all the support and
encouragement that you have given me. Also for the great smoothies and tattoos.
Without you I would not be able to do this sport, and it is one that I love very
much. Thank you, my love to you all.
To Jeff and Trish McVicar for all the support, information and friendship you
have shown me.
To Ronnie Shirly and Amy Vaughan for being there when I have had a question
or needed any help.
To John Pinder for all of your support and for introducing me to the Karin's shirt.
Also to Rebecca and John Lane for introducing me to this sport I love so much.
And of course to Sandi who has become quite a friend and has made this
wonderful page for just us girls. Way to go Sandi, you keep up the great work. We
love you!
These are some of the best people I know. With them it doesn't matter what the
problem is, they will be there until the end to help out a friend.
