My husband, Matt got me started
into powerlifting and I fell in love
with it. He has pushed me to the
max many times and I owe a lot of
my accomplishments to him. He is
a great lifter himself and he
inspires me to be #1.

sum it all up for us:
I began competing in college with the Ball State Powerlifting
Team in USAPL meets. Placed 1st at Women's Worlds and 2nd
at Collegiate Nationals.
I went to a Westside seminar back in '01. From there, I fell in
love with powerlifting, got some new equipment and began
competing in IPA meets. I would drive to Westside once a
month to train until I moved to Buffalo.
I love lifting and competing and hope to see more women get
involved in the sport. I have met so many lifters along the way
and I consider them all my friends. It's a blast to meet new
people at every meet I go to and learn from other lifters.
